My father was a <strong>Paratrooper Captain<\/strong> and died in combat in Guinea, and he is one of our national heroes.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\">I witnessesed the hipocrisy of politic decisions to send young men to war, only for economic reasons and not humanitarian purposes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\">In 2005 I gave up and started my training as a coach. Then I understood Coaching and saw it is such a powerful tool for creating peace, compassion and love between men and women. So instead of becoming an executive, life or business coach, I decided to become a <strong>COACH FOR PEACE<\/strong>. It is a matter of giving myself entirely to a noble goal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\">Currently I am devoting myself to bringing Coaching and Emotional Intelligence to orphans in Angola in a social project called\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/internationalcoachingcommunity.com\/?p=431\" target=\"_blank\">Coaching for Peace<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;\">Peace is not absence of war.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;\">It is a state of the mind, a predisposition for benevolence, kindness and compassion&#8230; <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;\">Misery does not exist where hunger exists. Misery exists where there is richness and lack of love.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;\"> During those times of war, I had the most impressive examples of predisposition, kindness, compassion, friendship and camaraderie&#8230; now&#8230; in such a crazy world, when I get out my soldier armor and weapons&#8230; I feel the need to protect myself and my beloved ones from the selfishness, envy, emptiness of soul and heart. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;\">Still, I have hope for mankind if each one of us learns to choose and give themselves to others without expectations and judgment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal;\">\u00a0This is me, in my years as a soldier<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/internationalcoachingcommunity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/tinoco3.jpg\" border=\"0\" width=\"600\" style=\"border: 0px; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>This is me today, in my project <a href=\"http:\/\/internationalcoachingcommunity.com\/?p=431\" target=\"_blank\">Coaching for Peace<\/a>,\u00a0that takes place in two orphanages in Angola<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/internationalcoachingcommunity.com\/?p=431\"><em><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/internationalcoachingcommunity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/tinoco2.jpg\" border=\"0\" width=\"900\" style=\"border: 0; display: block; margin-left: NaNpx; margin-right: NaNpx;\" \/><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pedro Tinoco is currently bringing Coaching and Emotional Intelligence to orphans in Angola in a social project called Coaching for Peace.
