Si ser coach diferencia a los mejores, \u00bfqu\u00e9 tanto coachean los l\u00edderes?<\/h2>\n

Tanto los empresarios como los gerentes es imperioso el entrenarse y entrenar a otros<\/h4>\n

Seg\u00fan una investigaci\u00f3n publicada en la Harvard Business Review en agosto de este a\u00f1o, muchos Managers a\u00fan no saben como coachear pero pueden aprenderlo r\u00e1pidamente. Concluye el estudio que recibir un entrenamiento en Coaching tiene resultados inmediatos en diversos aspectos: la capacidad de escuchar, de preguntar, de dar retroalimentaci\u00f3n, de ayudar a establecer metas, ser emp\u00e1tico, dejar que la persona encuentre sus soluciones, reconocer y se\u00f1alar fortalezas, proporcionar estructura y fomentar un enfoque centrado en las soluciones.<\/p>\n

De la misma forma, los resultados de nuestro propio relevamiento de investigaci\u00f3n en Uruguay, llevada a cabo a los participantes de la Certificaci\u00f3n Internacional en Coaching de la International Coaching Community (ICC) revel\u00f3 el impacto positivo en diversos aspectos tales como: liderazgo efectivo, desarrollo y cumplimiento de objetivos, asertividad, motivaci\u00f3n propia y motivaci\u00f3n de otros, generaci\u00f3n de cambios, soluci\u00f3n de conflictos, comunicaci\u00f3n efectiva, mejores interrelaciones, dar y recibir feedback, dise\u00f1o de estrategias y planes de acci\u00f3n e impacto en sus performance personal, laboral y profesional.<\/p>\n

Ambas investigaciones revelan que las habilidades y competencias para ser un l\u00edder coach son f\u00e1cilmente aprendidas en un entrenamiento \u00e9tico, seguro y significativo que aporta herramientas pr\u00e1cticas, con una metodolog\u00eda pragm\u00e1tica que involucra la tr\u00edada ser \u2013 hacer \u2013 saber.<\/p>\n

Desde nuestra experiencia es la forma m\u00e1s eficiente y efectiva de desarrollar destacados l\u00edderes as\u00ed como la promoci\u00f3n de una cultura organizacional de aprendizaje, compromiso y resultados tanto para las personas como para el negocio. No en vano universidades como Harvard, Cambridge y otras de las grandes en el mundo, con los mejores posicionamientos a nivel global, entrenan en coaching. Igualmente lo hacen empresas de avanzada que tienen resultados de negocio que van m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de sus expectativas.\u00a0 Este es el caso de organizaciones como Google, seg\u00fan el estudio que cit\u00e9 en una columna de hace pocas semanas atr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Tanto si sos empresario como manager a cargo de la gesti\u00f3n y la operativa, es imperioso que consideres entrenarte y entrenar a tus l\u00edderes en coaching para que en la organizaci\u00f3n que lideras se viva y se respire la cultura que te permitir\u00e1 alcanzar el profit y tambi\u00e9n los objetivos a tus colaboradores. Promover pr\u00e1cticas permanentes de peer coaches facilitar\u00e1 y dinamizar\u00e1 los resultados. En momentos claves y ante la necesidad de cumplir con objetivos determinados, la participaci\u00f3n de un coach profesional externo modelar\u00e1 buenas pr\u00e1cticas en tus equipos y colaboradores y m\u00e1s aun, un liderazgo de excelencia.<\/p>\n

Lejos de pensar que invertir en tus colaboradores es un riesgo para que luego se vayan y aporten en otro lugar lo aprendido, es importante tener presente que dar la oportunidad de aprender y crecer a trav\u00e9s de una cultura de coaching, favorecer\u00e1 que cada uno se expanda desarrollando talento, aportando una ecuaci\u00f3n win-win para las personas y la organizaci\u00f3n. No solo retendr\u00e1s talento sino que potenciar\u00e1s altos desempe\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

El liderazgo es una condici\u00f3n natural y ancestral, no excluyente de nuestra condici\u00f3n humana, que hoy ya no sigue rigurosamente los principios evolutivos de selecci\u00f3n. Originalmente el l\u00edder era elegido por sus seguidores, afirma Mark van Vugt, psic\u00f3logo social evolucionista desempe\u00f1\u00e1ndose en la Universidad de Kent en Reino Unido, quien desde hace a\u00f1os trabaja en temas vinculados al liderazgo situacional, pol\u00edtico y el liderazgo en s\u00ed mismo.\u00a0 En nuestros tiempos, en la elecci\u00f3n del l\u00edder intervienen factores sociales, pol\u00edticos y econ\u00f3micos, siendo que el l\u00edder muy pocas veces es elegido por sus seguidores. Es el l\u00edder el que deber\u00e1 aplicarse a que sus seguidores lo sigan. Seguramente escuchaste que las personas no dejan a las empresas sino a sus l\u00edderes, lo que pone en el tapete los desaf\u00edos que se imponen al l\u00edder en relaci\u00f3n a sus seguidores.<\/p>\n

El coaching ejecutivo est\u00e1 especialmente indicado para desarrollar alto potencial y articular diversas variables. El liderazgo reporta grandes beneficios tanto como desaf\u00edos que se imponen para mantenerse en la posici\u00f3n \u2013 resultados que deben aportar tanto al negocio y a los colaboradores-. El l\u00edder deber\u00e1 atender actores y variables cr\u00edticas como su propio desarrollo personal y profesional, el de sus colaboradores y todo esto articulando el negocio. No podr\u00e1 descuidar aspectos ni situaciones del mercado, tendencias, pol\u00edtica, econom\u00eda y situaci\u00f3n social, entre otros muchos factores que la agilidad de los mercados y la tecnolog\u00eda proponen. A todo esto se agrega la necesidad de \u00a1ser seguido! y para ser seguido se requiere ser validado, aportar valor desplegando capacidades t\u00e9cnicas, competencias y habilidades blandas y un estado emocional asertivo y flexible.<\/p>\n

In my early years of school, one of my favorite subjects was called Moral and Civic Education.<\/strong><\/p>

Depending on when each reader lived his childhood, he will know what I mean.<\/p>

For those who do not know, M.C.E. was a formal and compulsory subject in schools, which was intended to help educate good citizens, who knew their duties and rights.<\/p>

But this goal I only discovered recently, at that time the literal meaning of these words never occurred to me, I simply loved to paint the cartoons of the comic strips, the Brazilian flag, and to talk about the daily facts of my city and country. This was much cooler than decorating the tables or learning about things that had happened and stopped happening hundreds of years before I even existed!<\/p>

The other day, driving back to my house here in London, I watched people cross the street in front of me, and thought\u2026 how do the moral values of a culture or region directly reflect the everyday reality of an entire nation?<\/strong><\/p>

And I\u2019ve thought of all the countries I\u2019ve been to, which are dozens of them, and cultures in general, and how clear it is to understand which are those values established strongly from the cradle, in that culture of which that person did and of which he is a part.<\/p>

An IVH (Human Value Index) survey conducted by the UN (The United Nations) showed that in the opinion of Brazilians, in general, what it is necessary to change in Brazil for quality of life to improve is, first, education, followed by public policy, violence, moral values \u200b\u200band employment. In the State of S\u00e3o Paulo there was a variation in relation to the national opinion, with moral values \u200b\u200bfirst.<\/p>

Most likely, if the same survey were done in England or in any other country, the result would be another.<\/strong><\/p>

And it occurred to me: This applies not only to countries, but also to each of the families and the citizens.<\/p>

If we stop to think, we will see clearly how the values we experience (or not) in our home, influences our life in general.<\/p>

I particularly have two very strong and unshakable values, one is respect, and the other is honesty.<\/p>

I cannot imagine a satisfactorily happy life without the presence of one of these two values.<\/p>

And analyzing my reality, I see how everyone in my house also adopted the same guiding values, just as I adopted the values of the other members of my family.<\/p>

And in that I thought as I watched people cross the street\u2026 in the tranquility I was feeling, standing at the traffic light, with the glass open, and not even thinking about checking the mirror to make sure no one was approaching to rob me. And everyone around them was acting the same way.<\/strong><\/p>

The boy who appeared to be about 10 years of age crossing the street alone, with his school bag, talking on his iPhone, the executive with his backpack, who did not try to disguise the presence of a laptop, and the old man, who walked calmly on the street with his walking stick, not being hit by the other pedestrians, and not bothering to finish crossing quickly, just in case the green light turned red for him.<\/p>

And I realized the main reason for me to love London, is because people and their values, build a nation and (regardless of the weather), build the quality of life they have. (I\u2019m not just referring to London, but mentioning what I observed while thinking about it. Of course, I love Brazil a lot, however, for different reasons.)<\/p>

Our values build our reality, as long as we are congruent with them!<\/p>

After all, what good is it to value education if you\u2019re too lazy to read a book?<\/p>

Or honesty, if you\u2019re happy when you get a little extra change and you don't even consider returning the difference to the cashier?<\/p>
