Una generaci\u00f3n que jug\u00f3 a la bolita, a la pelota, a los clubes y que jug\u00f3 Mario Bros y tantos otros; que domina la m\u00e1quina de escribir y que con la llegada de las computadoras supo entender el hardware y software para dominar hoy el mundo digital. Una generaci\u00f3n que conoci\u00f3 el fax y usa el correo electr\u00f3nico, el whatsapp y las redes digitales. Una generaci\u00f3n que hizo cursos de lectura r\u00e1pida leyendo sobre papel y ahora tambi\u00e9n lo hace en digital. Desde el casete, pasando por el vhs y el beta, al mundo internet. La tecnolog\u00eda es sin duda una herramienta poderosa, tanto as\u00ed que el 54% de la generaci\u00f3n X y el 56% de los Millenials informaron que son digitalmente inteligentes.<\/p>\n<p>Una generaci\u00f3n que vivi\u00f3 crisis econ\u00f3micas fuertes y que aprendi\u00f3 que el trabajo es parte de la vida, no la vida en s\u00ed misma y que avanza en la articulaci\u00f3n de este equilibrio. Una generaci\u00f3n que valora las actividades culturales y la naturaleza y seg\u00fan un estudio de la Universidad de Michigan realizado por Miller, \u201clos adultos de la Generaci\u00f3n X est\u00e1n felices con sus vidas, con un nivel promedio de 7,5 en una escala de diez puntos en la cual el 10 equivale a \u201cmuy feliz\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Me pregunto muchas veces, como esta generaci\u00f3n que se ha adaptado a cambios tan potentes, en ocasiones tiene dificultades para adaptarse y\/o promover el cambio en las organizaciones. \u00bfNo son una generaci\u00f3n caracterizada por la flexibilidad, la adaptaci\u00f3n, el aprendizaje y el deseo de crecer?<\/p>\n<p>De hecho, casi el 50% aprende en forma continua para perfeccionarse y el 67% dijo que le gustar\u00eda recibir coaching, seg\u00fan datos publicados en el Global Leadership Forecast 2018. Ser\u00eda simple entonces para esta generaci\u00f3n que lidera m\u00e1s del 50% de las organizaciones, gestionar los cambios y sin embargo, falta alguna vuelta de tuerca. Quiz\u00e1 basta con linkear con nuestras experiencias de adaptaci\u00f3n, aplicando lo aprendido y todo lo que llevo al \u00e9xito en su momento, a los desaf\u00edos que se nos presentan hoy. Es necesario hacerlo con alto sentido de responsabilidad ya que somos los padres de los tambi\u00e9n maravillosos Millenials que ya comenzaron a emprender y a desafiar para generar el cambio que ellos implantar\u00e1n. Ya ellos tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n liderando y ser\u00e1n el 50% de la fuerza laboral en el 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQui\u00e9n mejor para adaptarse a la diversidad generacional que coexiste en las empresas, e integrar el talento intergeneracional, que una generaci\u00f3n caracterizada por lo cambios?<br \/>\nSe trata de recordar y aplicar. Tenemos adem\u00e1s de la historia, el empuje de las nuevas generaciones que nos ense\u00f1an y nos muestran lo que vendr\u00e1. La generaci\u00f3n X est\u00e1 llamada a conectar con las experiencias de \u00e9xito en la adaptaci\u00f3n a los cambios y poner en juego aquellos aspectos que en sus momentos permitieron aprender y ser parte de lo nuevo.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata tambi\u00e9n de valores, integraci\u00f3n, comunicaci\u00f3n, objetivos, compromiso, acci\u00f3n, responsabilidad con el hoy y el ma\u00f1ana. This was much cooler than decorating the tables or learning about things that had happened and stopped happening hundreds of years before I even existed!<\/p><p><strong>The other day, driving back to my house here in London, I watched people cross the street in front of me, and thought\u2026 how do the moral values of a culture or region directly reflect the everyday reality of an entire nation?<\/strong><\/p><p>And I\u2019ve thought of all the countries I\u2019ve been to, which are dozens of them, and cultures in general, and how clear it is to understand which are those values established strongly from the cradle, in that culture of which that person did and of which he is a part.<\/p><p>An IVH (Human Value Index) survey conducted by the UN (The United Nations) showed that in the opinion of Brazilians, in general, what it is necessary to change in Brazil for quality of life to improve is, first, education, followed by public policy, violence, moral values \u200b\u200band employment. In the State of S\u00e3o Paulo there was a variation in relation to the national opinion, with moral values \u200b\u200bfirst.<\/p><p><strong>Most likely, if the same survey were done in England or in any other country, the result would be another.<\/strong><\/p><p>And it occurred to me: This applies not only to countries, but also to each of the families and the citizens.<\/p><p>If we stop to think, we will see clearly how the values we experience (or not) in our home, influences our life in general.<\/p><p>I particularly have two very strong and unshakable values, one is respect, and the other is honesty.<\/p><p>I cannot imagine a satisfactorily happy life without the presence of one of these two values.<\/p><p>And analyzing my reality, I see how everyone in my house also adopted the same guiding values, just as I adopted the values of the other members of my family.<\/p><p><strong>And in that I thought as I watched people cross the street\u2026 in the tranquility I was feeling, standing at the traffic light, with the glass open, and not even thinking about checking the mirror to make sure no one was approaching to rob me. And everyone around them was acting the same way.<\/strong><\/p><p>The boy who appeared to be about 10 years of age crossing the street alone, with his school bag, talking on his iPhone, the executive with his backpack, who did not try to disguise the presence of a laptop, and the old man, who walked calmly on the street with his walking stick, not being hit by the other pedestrians, and not bothering to finish crossing quickly, just in case the green light turned red for him.<\/p><p>And I realized the main reason for me to love London, is because people and their values, build a nation and (regardless of the weather), build the quality of life they have. (I\u2019m not just referring to London, but mentioning what I observed while thinking about it. Of course, I love Brazil a lot, however, for different reasons.)<\/p><p>Our values build our reality, as long as we are congruent with them!<\/p><p>After all, what good is it to value education if you\u2019re too lazy to read a book?<\/p><p>Or honesty, if you\u2019re happy when you get a little extra change and you don't even consider returning the difference to the cashier?<\/p><p>Returning to Moral and Civic Education, and knowing that it is no longer compulsory in schools, what can each of us do to incorporate it into our routine to contribute to a more moral and civically satisfying society?<\/p>","_et_gb_content_width":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[130],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-62091","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-articulos"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.8 -
