Consciencia<\/h2>\n

Ordenar la propia vida es una de las pr\u00e1cticas que llev\u00f3 a los Jesuitas a crear y sostener su exitosa compa\u00f1\u00eda. Te invito a jugar contigo mismo y decidir.<\/h5>\n

El coronavirus nos oblig\u00f3 a parar. Personalmente, esta parada me puso a pensar, organizar, reflexionar y evaluar tantas cosas. Tambi\u00e9n dedicar tiempo a cosas que antes no hac\u00eda y descubrir la simpleza de tantas otras. Apelar a la creatividad y por sobre todo caer en la cuenta de lo importante. Eso es lo que hoy me rompe los ojos.<\/p>\n

Nuestro cerebro est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado con la capacidad de la metacognici\u00f3n, que es pensar sobre nuestros pensamientos y estados mentales. Nos permite ser m\u00e1s conscientes de nuestra forma de aprender y nuestras estrategias. A trav\u00e9s de esta capacidad, podemos autorregularnos cognitivamente, generar nuevos aprendizajes y nuevas estrategias. En definitiva en este proceso consciente, generamos m\u00e1s libertad.<\/p>\n

Chris Lowney en su libro \u201cLiderazgo al estilo de los jesuitas\u201d comparte acerca de las mejores pr\u00e1cticas de una compa\u00f1\u00eda de m\u00e1s de 450 a\u00f1os que, cambi\u00f3 el mundo. Hace referencia a la necesidad de ordenar la propia vida y la importancia del autoconocimiento como base del liderazgo exitoso. Menciona que \u201cnadie llega por accidente a ser un gran maestro, padre, violinista o ejecutivo de una corporaci\u00f3n\u201d. Y agrega, \u201ca quienes han identificado qu\u00e9 los mueve a comprometerse de todo coraz\u00f3n, no les cuesta trabajo mantenerse motivados\u201d.<\/p>\n

Por eso, te invito a poner en acci\u00f3n nuestra metacognici\u00f3n y detenernos a auto-observarnos. Es una oportunidad, aqu\u00ed y ahora, para reconocernos en nuestros recursos y nuestras oportunidades, los propios y los de nuestra vida. Y en estas observaciones y respuestas que nos demos, decidamos.<\/p>\n

M\u00e1s bien, te invito a un juego. Imag\u00ednate que est\u00e1s mir\u00e1ndote a los ojos, en un espejo y a trav\u00e9s de ellos est\u00e1s viendo tu interior, tu coraz\u00f3n. Al mismo tiempo, vas recorriendo tu vida, tu d\u00eda a d\u00eda, tus compromisos, responsabilidades, relaciones, amores… Y a medida que avanzas en las im\u00e1genes, aparecen pensamientos y emociones.<\/p>\n

Mientras te miras en ese espejo imaginario, registr\u00e1 tus pensamientos y la intensidad de tus emociones. No importa el tiempo que te lleve, quiz\u00e1 es todo junto o en etapas. Lo importante es que inviertas ese tiempo y ese espacio para vos. Busc\u00e1 un lugar que te guste, que te inspire y un espacio de tu d\u00eda en que puedas estar contigo, sin interrupciones.<\/p>\n

Con tus l\u00edneas escritas, observ\u00e1 las diversas \u00e1reas de tu vida -salud, pareja, estado f\u00edsico, profesi\u00f3n, trabajo, econom\u00eda, entre otras- y preg\u00fantate en cada una:
\n\u2022\u00bfC\u00f3mo estoy?
\n\u2022\u00bfQu\u00e9 tan satisfecho estoy?
\n\u2022\u00bfCu\u00e1l es mi estado deseado?
\n\u2022\u00bfCu\u00e1les son mis recursos en esta \u00e1rea?
\n\u2022\u00bfCu\u00e1les son mis oportunidades?
\n\u2022\u00bfQu\u00e9 puedo hacer m\u00e1s, para estar donde quiero en cada una de las \u00e1reas que componen mi vida?
\n\u2022 \u00bfQu\u00e9 puedo hacer menos, para estar donde quiero estar?
\n\u2022\u00bfQu\u00e9 puedo hacer diferente?<\/p>\n

Ten\u00e9 en cuenta que es un ejercicio centrado en vos mismo. No sirve que quieras lograr un mejor estado en todas o en alg\u00fan \u00e1rea, dependiendo de cambios que tengan que hacer otros. Lo que sea que definas para tu mejor versi\u00f3n, debe\u00a0 necesariamente: depender de vos mismo. Que la nueva normalidad o como sea que se llame, te encuentre mejor. \u00bfQu\u00e9 tanto mejor? Depende de vos. De la responsabilidad que hayas asumido contigo mismo y la inversi\u00f3n que hayas hecho estos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n

El mundo cambiar\u00e1, las empresas tambi\u00e9n. Yo cambiar\u00e9, vos tambi\u00e9n. Deseo que cambiemos en direcci\u00f3n a nuestra mejor versi\u00f3n.
\nY que en ella seas, no solo protagonista de tu historia, sino el creador.
\nQue cada minuto sea como lo creaste y lo que no es tal como esperabas, tenga encerrado un aprendizaje que se convierta en una nueva oportunidad.
\nTe deseo que no solo est\u00e9s rodeado de tus seres amados, sino tambi\u00e9n, colmado de las relaciones que quer\u00e9s porque las constru\u00eds y manten\u00e9s. Te deseo que seas exitoso, no solo porque est\u00e1s en buen lugar sino tambi\u00e9n porque est\u00e1s donde decidiste y construiste.<\/p>\n

In my early years of school, one of my favorite subjects was called Moral and Civic Education.<\/strong><\/p>

Depending on when each reader lived his childhood, he will know what I mean.<\/p>

For those who do not know, M.C.E. was a formal and compulsory subject in schools, which was intended to help educate good citizens, who knew their duties and rights.<\/p>

But this goal I only discovered recently, at that time the literal meaning of these words never occurred to me, I simply loved to paint the cartoons of the comic strips, the Brazilian flag, and to talk about the daily facts of my city and country. This was much cooler than decorating the tables or learning about things that had happened and stopped happening hundreds of years before I even existed!<\/p>

The other day, driving back to my house here in London, I watched people cross the street in front of me, and thought\u2026 how do the moral values of a culture or region directly reflect the everyday reality of an entire nation?<\/strong><\/p>

And I\u2019ve thought of all the countries I\u2019ve been to, which are dozens of them, and cultures in general, and how clear it is to understand which are those values established strongly from the cradle, in that culture of which that person did and of which he is a part.<\/p>

An IVH (Human Value Index) survey conducted by the UN (The United Nations) showed that in the opinion of Brazilians, in general, what it is necessary to change in Brazil for quality of life to improve is, first, education, followed by public policy, violence, moral values \u200b\u200band employment. In the State of S\u00e3o Paulo there was a variation in relation to the national opinion, with moral values \u200b\u200bfirst.<\/p>

Most likely, if the same survey were done in England or in any other country, the result would be another.<\/strong><\/p>

And it occurred to me: This applies not only to countries, but also to each of the families and the citizens.<\/p>

If we stop to think, we will see clearly how the values we experience (or not) in our home, influences our life in general.<\/p>

I particularly have two very strong and unshakable values, one is respect, and the other is honesty.<\/p>

I cannot imagine a satisfactorily happy life without the presence of one of these two values.<\/p>

And analyzing my reality, I see how everyone in my house also adopted the same guiding values, just as I adopted the values of the other members of my family.<\/p>

And in that I thought as I watched people cross the street\u2026 in the tranquility I was feeling, standing at the traffic light, with the glass open, and not even thinking about checking the mirror to make sure no one was approaching to rob me. And everyone around them was acting the same way.<\/strong><\/p>

The boy who appeared to be about 10 years of age crossing the street alone, with his school bag, talking on his iPhone, the executive with his backpack, who did not try to disguise the presence of a laptop, and the old man, who walked calmly on the street with his walking stick, not being hit by the other pedestrians, and not bothering to finish crossing quickly, just in case the green light turned red for him.<\/p>

And I realized the main reason for me to love London, is because people and their values, build a nation and (regardless of the weather), build the quality of life they have. (I\u2019m not just referring to London, but mentioning what I observed while thinking about it. Of course, I love Brazil a lot, however, for different reasons.)<\/p>

Our values build our reality, as long as we are congruent with them!<\/p>

After all, what good is it to value education if you\u2019re too lazy to read a book?<\/p>

Or honesty, if you\u2019re happy when you get a little extra change and you don't even consider returning the difference to the cashier?<\/p>
