La situacio\u0301n en Best Buy era ma\u0301s que cri\u0301tica, pero su gestio\u0301n no solo salvo\u0301 a la empresa, sino que la hizo crecer. \u00bfQue\u0301 hizo para lograrlo en plena crisis recesiva en su pai\u0301s? Su respuesta es contundente: un liderazgo humano, centrado en las personas y un claro sentido de propo\u0301sito. Para Best Buy fue definido como: \u201cenriquecer vidas a trave\u0301s de la tecnologi\u0301a\u201d.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>En un arti\u0301culo de la Harvard Bussines Review, Joly asegura que la solucio\u0301n ma\u0301s ra\u0301pida podi\u0301a haber sido reducir costos y con ello colaboradores. Convencido que esa mirada era miope y que no lo conduciri\u0301a al e\u0301xito, lidero\u0301 la transformacio\u0301n reteniendo talento. Puso a sus colaboradores y clientes en el centro y considero\u0301 las ganancias como resultado en lugar de como meta. Asi\u0301 logro\u0301 mantener su talento y en poco tiempo, todavi\u0301a ma\u0301s, estaban contratando colaboradores. Nuevas ideas y la deteccio\u0301n de oportunidades generaron el desarrollo de mercados y la creacio\u0301n de nuevos programas.<\/p>\n<p>Ante la crisis actual, los empresarios estamos activando un abanico de medidas. Algunas van directamente dirigidas a la reduccio\u0301n de costos, a achicar el negocio o en el opuesto, hacia el crecimiento. Otras muchas empresas esta\u0301n abriendo nuevas alternativas, y al igual que Best Buy, incorporan unidades de negocio, se re inventan e innovan.<\/p>\n<p>No ha estado en nuestras manos la aparicio\u0301n del Covid-19. La crisis no es decisio\u0301n nuestra ni esta\u0301 enteramente en nuestro control. Lo que si depende de nosotros es aceptarla como una realidad y decidir co\u0301mo transitarla. Y nuestra reaccio\u0301n puede estar del lado de las amenazas o de los desafi\u0301os. Ante la primera opcio\u0301n, estaremos cuasi detenidos, posicionados en el problema y de alguna manera, mirando co\u0301mo nos pasa el agua. En cambio desde una mirada de oportunidad, podremos construir nuevas alternativas y hasta crecer, como lo hizo Joly con Best Buy. Su decisio\u0301n fue ver la crisis como un desafi\u0301o de liderazgo enfoca\u0301ndose en ayudar a otras personas y hacer el bien.<\/p>\n<p>Estamos llamados a decidir y esa decisio\u0301n determinara\u0301 si salimos disminuidos o fortalecidos, tanto como personas, equipos y organizaciones. La clave esta\u0301 en el liderazgo. Encontrar alternativas creativas para retener el talento y el conocimiento de los colaboradores, es esta una gran decisio\u0301n. Decisio\u0301n que no solo aportara\u0301 a la compan\u0303i\u0301a, tambie\u0301n a la sociedad y la economi\u0301a.<\/p>\n<p>Joly comenzo\u0301 con una comunicacio\u0301n clara y congruente. Una vez ma\u0301s se hace evidente la necesidad de invertir en la comunicacio\u0301n y que e\u0301sta sea de calidad: franca, clara y muy frecuente con cada uno de los colaboradores. Aportara\u0301 seguridad y adema\u0301s la oportunidad de escuchar las voces de quienes conforman la organizacio\u0301n.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfPara que\u0301? Para encontrar juntos nuevas ideas y alternativas creativas que abran oportunidades.<br \/>\nRecordemos que como personas, cuando estamos en una situacio\u0301n positiva y desafiados, activamos la creatividad. Si le sumamos pra\u0301cticas colaborativas, lo ma\u0301s probable es que estaremos innovando. Asi\u0301 es que, es muy importante que como lideres, estemos atentos a las necesidades y el bienestar de nuestros colaboradores. Lo lograremos proporcionando experiencias positivas y todavi\u0301a ma\u0301s, generaremos mayor compromiso y responsabilidad.<br \/>\nEsta crisis requiere un liderazgo humano centrado en las personas y un claro sentido de propo\u0301sito desde la organizacio\u0301n. No en vano, a mediados del 2019, 181 CEO firmaron la \u201cDeclaracio\u0301n de la Mesa Redonda de Negocios sobre el Propo\u0301sito de una Corporacio\u0301n\u201d, donde se comprometieron justamente a liderar sus empresas buscando el beneficio de sus clientes, empleados, proveedores, comunidades y accionistas. Asegura Joly que en la crisis actual, estos CEO tienen presente su propo\u0301sito y esta\u0301n activando diversas pra\u0301cticas haciendo honor al compromiso asumido. En muchas organizaciones a nuestro alrededor, estamos viendo pra\u0301cticas de este tipo, las que son enriquecedoras para las personas, la organizacio\u0301n y los resultados.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 3\">\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>Algunos ejemplos:<br \/>\n\u2022 Dar tiempo libre remunerado a los colaboradores que esta\u0301n enfermos y\/o tienen nin\u0303os que atender en sus casas debido al cierre de las instituciones educativas.<br \/>\n\u2022 Apoyo de salud mental a quienes lo necesiten.<br \/>\n\u2022 Apoyo en coaching y asesoramiento.<br \/>\n\u2022 Capacitacio\u0301n remota basada en las necesidades y oportunidades de los equipos.<br \/>\n\u2022 Recortes de costos que no afectan a las personas.<br \/>\n\u2022 Rotacio\u0301n de los empleados en el seguro de paro.<br \/>\n\u2022 Dedicacio\u0301n real de tiempo a sus equipos.<br \/>\n\u2022 Promocio\u0301n del trabajo en casa, asegurando buenas condiciones.<br \/>\n\u2022 Disminucio\u0301n de horas de atencio\u0301n al pu\u0301blico.<br \/>\n\u2022 Activacio\u0301n de entregas a domicilio.<br \/>\n\u2022 Observacio\u0301n atenta y asistencia a pequen\u0303os proveedores para su supervivencia, en caso que lo requieran.<br \/>\n\u2022 Utilizan sus plataformas productivas con el n de aportar insumos necesarios para atravesar la pandemia (tapabocas, respiradores, etc.).<br \/>\n\u2022 Cuidar la seguridad al reducir horarios de atencio\u0301n, tener horarios especiales de atencio\u0301n para personas vulnerables, asegurar el uso del tapabocas, alcohol, etc.<br \/>\n\u2022 Activar protocolos de cuidado<\/p>\n<p>Necesitamos activar ha\u0301bitos y pra\u0301cticas concretas que favorezcan la empati\u0301a y la solidaridad, fomenten la resiliencia y la colaboracio\u0301n. Capacidades que compartimos los humanos y que podemos hacer crecer en forma consciente y sencilla. Adema\u0301s y teniendo en cuenta el cambio de paradigma que estamos transitando en el mundo, es necesario impactar positivamente en el entorno, con acciones concretas de responsabilidad social. Utilicemos esta crisis para impactar positivamente en uno mismo y en otros. This was much cooler than decorating the tables or learning about things that had happened and stopped happening hundreds of years before I even existed!<\/p><p><strong>The other day, driving back to my house here in London, I watched people cross the street in front of me, and thought\u2026 how do the moral values of a culture or region directly reflect the everyday reality of an entire nation?<\/strong><\/p><p>And I\u2019ve thought of all the countries I\u2019ve been to, which are dozens of them, and cultures in general, and how clear it is to understand which are those values established strongly from the cradle, in that culture of which that person did and of which he is a part.<\/p><p>An IVH (Human Value Index) survey conducted by the UN (The United Nations) showed that in the opinion of Brazilians, in general, what it is necessary to change in Brazil for quality of life to improve is, first, education, followed by public policy, violence, moral values \u200b\u200band employment. In the State of S\u00e3o Paulo there was a variation in relation to the national opinion, with moral values \u200b\u200bfirst.<\/p><p><strong>Most likely, if the same survey were done in England or in any other country, the result would be another.<\/strong><\/p><p>And it occurred to me: This applies not only to countries, but also to each of the families and the citizens.<\/p><p>If we stop to think, we will see clearly how the values we experience (or not) in our home, influences our life in general.<\/p><p>I particularly have two very strong and unshakable values, one is respect, and the other is honesty.<\/p><p>I cannot imagine a satisfactorily happy life without the presence of one of these two values.<\/p><p>And analyzing my reality, I see how everyone in my house also adopted the same guiding values, just as I adopted the values of the other members of my family.<\/p><p><strong>And in that I thought as I watched people cross the street\u2026 in the tranquility I was feeling, standing at the traffic light, with the glass open, and not even thinking about checking the mirror to make sure no one was approaching to rob me. And everyone around them was acting the same way.<\/strong><\/p><p>The boy who appeared to be about 10 years of age crossing the street alone, with his school bag, talking on his iPhone, the executive with his backpack, who did not try to disguise the presence of a laptop, and the old man, who walked calmly on the street with his walking stick, not being hit by the other pedestrians, and not bothering to finish crossing quickly, just in case the green light turned red for him.<\/p><p>And I realized the main reason for me to love London, is because people and their values, build a nation and (regardless of the weather), build the quality of life they have. (I\u2019m not just referring to London, but mentioning what I observed while thinking about it. Of course, I love Brazil a lot, however, for different reasons.)<\/p><p>Our values build our reality, as long as we are congruent with them!<\/p><p>After all, what good is it to value education if you\u2019re too lazy to read a book?<\/p><p>Or honesty, if you\u2019re happy when you get a little extra change and you don't even consider returning the difference to the cashier?<\/p><p>Returning to Moral and Civic Education, and knowing that it is no longer compulsory in schools, what can each of us do to incorporate it into our routine to contribute to a more moral and civically satisfying society?<\/p>","_et_gb_content_width":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[130],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-65274","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-articulos"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.8 -
