Todos queremos ayudar, pero, como coaches, nos podemos preguntar \u00bfdesde d\u00f3nde ayudamos? \u00bfCu\u00e1l es el papel que desempe\u00f1amos? A partir de esta cuesti\u00f3n, me gustar\u00eda ayudar a interiorizar la naturaleza de lo que llamamos \u201cla escucha plena\u201d, el gran motor de las preguntas del coach.<\/p>\n
Quiz\u00e1 sea bueno partir desde un check list que muestre algunos pensamientos que realmente son \u201cvenenos\u201d de la escucha:<\/p>\n
\u2013 \u00bfCreo que el coachee no es capaz de ver una soluci\u00f3n que yo veo con claridad?<\/p>\n
\u2013 \u00bfMe veo en una situaci\u00f3n de superioridad? (sea moral o intelectual).<\/p>\n
\u2013 \u00bfMe parece que algunos coachees son m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles que otros?<\/p>\n
\u2013 \u00bfCreo que el coachee tiene un gran problema?<\/p>\n
\u2013 \u00bfMe dejo llevar por las emociones del coachee?<\/p>\n
\u2013 \u00bfAlguna de las tendencias del coachee me causan rechazo?<\/p>\n
Desde luego, el que est\u00e9 libre de toda culpa que tire la primera piedra \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Cualquiera de estos pensamientos nos pueden asaltar en una sesi\u00f3n. Estos \u201cvenenos\u201d dificultan que la sesi\u00f3n alcance todo su potencial y como coaches podemos hacernos responsables de tener a mano un buen \u201cant\u00eddoto\u201d.<\/p>\n
Pongamos como ejemplo el pensamiento que puede parecer m\u00e1s natural: \u201cel coachee tiene un gran problema\u201d. Cuando pensamos esto \u00bfestamos escuchando al coachee o nos estamos situando en un lugar desde el que emitir un juicio? F\u00edjate en tus emociones \u00bfC\u00f3mo les afecta este pensamiento?<\/p>\n
Sigamos indagando en \u201cel coachee tiene un gran problema\u201d\u2026 \u00bfEscuchamos igual con este pensamiento que si pensamos, por ejemplo, \u201cel coachee tiene todos los recursos que necesita o puede crearlos\u201d? Este ser\u00eda un ant\u00eddoto que cambia la calidad de nuestro acompa\u00f1amiento.\u00a0Con \u00e9l, nos instalaremos en la escucha plena, portadora de una curiosidad limpia y poderosa por conocer cu\u00e1l es la soluci\u00f3n que puede encontrar ese ser humano, con toda la confianza en el potencial que puede desarrollarse a partir de esta situaci\u00f3n. Esa escucha genera un eco amplio y saludable para que la persona se reconozca y empodere.<\/p>\n
Otros ant\u00eddotos ser\u00edan, por ejemplo, \u201crespeto el mapa con el que esta persona ve el mundo y deseo ayudarla a completarlo de la forma m\u00e1s saludable para \u00e9l o ella\u201d o \u201cesta situaci\u00f3n le est\u00e1 poniendo delante de un gran descubrimiento que quiero ayudarle a conseguir\u201d. Estas son presuposiciones poderosas del coaching con PNL.<\/p>\n
La escucha plena implica mirar al coachee con ojos inocentes y profunda humildad. En el momento en el que existe un diagn\u00f3stico sobre lo que creemos que es \u201cel problema\u201d del coachee o \u201csus limitaciones\u201d, se enciende una chispa de condescendencia y la escucha deja de ser plena. Al no confiar en sus recursos, lo m\u00e1s probable es que ni siquiera estemos escuchando, sino que estemos busc\u00e1ndole una soluci\u00f3n, encendiendo por tanto nuestro di\u00e1logo interno.<\/p>\n
La escucha del coaching es para sostener, no para juzgar. Una y otra cosa son incompatibles. \u00bfY para qu\u00e9 es necesario sostener? Para que el coachee haga \u201csu propia aventura\u201d. Nosotros solo somos la caja de resonancia\u2026 y cuanto m\u00e1s limpia sea, mejor. Entonces nos dejaremos empapar con el mapa del coachee\u00a0y surgir\u00e1n de nosotros las preguntas que necesita para completar su mapa. Solo necesita nuestro estado de claridad y calma y nuestra escucha plena, junto al proceso natural de pensamiento \u00f3ptimo (el proceso de coaching).<\/p>\n
En el fondo, lo que deseamos es contagiarle ese estado de m\u00e1xima vibraci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como nuestra escucha, para que se escuche a s\u00ed mismo, para que nuestras preguntas vibren en su sabio interior y provoquen su propia respuesta.<\/em><\/p>\n Ese ser humano necesita las\u00a0preguntas que resuenan a trav\u00e9s de su coach para escucharse y descubrir su propia respuesta. Ese es el resultado de la escucha y las preguntas del coaching.<\/p>\n El coach ayuda a la persona a llegar a la pregunta correcta y a escuchar el eco de sus propios pensamientos para que explore m\u00e1s adentro de s\u00ed misma.\u00a0Le ofrece un espacio libre de distorsi\u00f3n, libre de otros pensamientos que no sean los del\/la coachee. El coach le ayudar\u00e1 a ser valiente y a tener plena confianza en s\u00ed misma, para ahondar en cualquier cuesti\u00f3n por dif\u00edcil que sea y as\u00ed descubrir la verdad que guarda en su sabidur\u00eda esencial.<\/p>\n Jiddu Krishnamurti <\/em>ha sido, en mi opini\u00f3n, uno de los principales sabios espirituales de nuestro tiempo (falleci\u00f3 en 1986). Hay una gran cantidad de v\u00eddeos de sus charlas en YouTube, que tienen un gran valor para quienes buscan las verdades profundas de la espiritualidad.<\/p>\n En una de sus charlas lo explica de una forma que creo que conecta directamente con el coach que desea ser un apoyo en el auto desarrollo personal y espiritual de las personas. Habla del sentido de las preguntas profundas, aquellas que hacen que el coachee indague en s\u00ed mismo sin distorsiones y con plena confianza. Dice as\u00ed:<\/p>\n \u201cNunca nos preguntamos las cuestiones esenciales. Es una de las cosas m\u00e1s dif\u00edciles de hacer, porque debes llegar a ellas por ti mismo. Cuando entras en la pregunta con la suficiente profundidad ya la has contestado, pero si, en vez de eso, esperas que otro la responda, la respuesta solo ser\u00e1 verbal porque no has trabajado sobre ella por ti mismo, no has explorado dentro de ti.<\/p>\n Por lo tanto, cada uno debe preguntarse hasta hallar la pregunta correcta que lleva a la respuesta correcta. El otro es solo una caja de resonancia. In the State of S\u00e3o Paulo there was a variation in relation to the national opinion, with moral values \u200b\u200bfirst.<\/p> Most likely, if the same survey were done in England or in any other country, the result would be another.<\/strong><\/p> And it occurred to me: This applies not only to countries, but also to each of the families and the citizens.<\/p> If we stop to think, we will see clearly how the values we experience (or not) in our home, influences our life in general.<\/p> I particularly have two very strong and unshakable values, one is respect, and the other is honesty.<\/p> I cannot imagine a satisfactorily happy life without the presence of one of these two values.<\/p> And analyzing my reality, I see how everyone in my house also adopted the same guiding values, just as I adopted the values of the other members of my family.<\/p> And in that I thought as I watched people cross the street\u2026 in the tranquility I was feeling, standing at the traffic light, with the glass open, and not even thinking about checking the mirror to make sure no one was approaching to rob me. And everyone around them was acting the same way.<\/strong><\/p> The boy who appeared to be about 10 years of age crossing the street alone, with his school bag, talking on his iPhone, the executive with his backpack, who did not try to disguise the presence of a laptop, and the old man, who walked calmly on the street with his walking stick, not being hit by the other pedestrians, and not bothering to finish crossing quickly, just in case the green light turned red for him.<\/p> And I realized the main reason for me to love London, is because people and their values, build a nation and (regardless of the weather), build the quality of life they have. (I\u2019m not just referring to London, but mentioning what I observed while thinking about it.
