\u00abLas se\u00f1as de identidad de este club no se pueden perder\u00bb, destacaba Ra\u00fal Garc\u00eda sobre ese esfuerzo en la primera l\u00ednea de presi\u00f3n, muy habitual en el Athletic en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os pero ajena al libreto tradicional de\u00a0Marcelino<\/strong>, que frente al Real Madrid renunci\u00f3 a sus propios principios para favorecer un contexto en el que sus jugadores est\u00e1n m\u00e1s c\u00f3modos. Al menos, por ahora.<\/p>\n

RESPETO M\u00c1XIMO AL EQUIPO<\/h3>\n

\u00abNo soy un mago\u00bb<\/strong>, confirma Marcelino, que recuerda que apenas lleva 12 d\u00edas al frente del equipo y que por tanto no ha podido dotar al equipo de la identidad a la que \u00e9l aspira. \u00abLa Supercopa no tiene mi marca ni mi sello<\/strong>, porque los verdaderos protagonistas son los futbolistas. Me quedo con la unidad de la plantilla y el sentimiento que tiene porque son los protagonistas, junto a\u00a0Gaizka Garitano<\/strong>, de que hayamos llegado hasta aqu\u00ed\u00bb, a\u00f1ad\u00eda el t\u00e9cnico, que evita colocarse medallas que no le corresponden y, todo un detalle, recuerda el trabajo de su antecesor.<\/p>\n

APROVECHA\u00a0SU COHESI\u00d3N Y \u200bLOS PROCESOS A LOS QUE EST\u00c1N ACOSTUMBRADOS.<\/h3>\n

Y es que Marcelino, lejos del borr\u00f3n y cuenta nueva, ha llegado a\u00a0Bilbao<\/strong>\u00a0con mayor voluntad de efectuar una transici\u00f3n ordenada que de impulsar la revoluci\u00f3n. Una actitud que se refleja en el campo de entrenamiento, en sus relaciones con los diferentes estamentos del club y hasta en sus comparecencias ante la prensa. La filosof\u00eda en el c\u00e9sped es aprovechar los conceptos t\u00e1cticos que estaban funcionando bien bajo el mando de Garitano, aunque no sean los suyos, hasta que el equipo tenga tiempo para asimilar los que \u00e9l quiere implantar. \u00abViene con otras ideas y otro estilo de juego y vamos poco a poco, intentando hacer lo que se nos pide, es un trabajo que va progresivamente\u00bb, explicaba\u00a0I\u00f1igo Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>\u00a0el jueves.<\/p>\n

La huella de Marcelino en este equipo, por tanto, se limita a\u00fan \u00fanicamente a algunos detalles. Y entre ellos\u00a0destaca el dinamismo con el que el Athletic mueve la pelota<\/strong>, propiciando transiciones r\u00e1pidas y que los jugadores den los menos toques posibles para favorecer la verticalidad del equipo. No es casual que los dos goles marcados en jugada hasta ahora -uno contra el Bar\u00e7a y otro frente al Madrid-, hayan llegado tras un robo y un pase al frente hacia el rematador final. Los desajustes defensivos que afloraron en el encuentro de Liga contra los azulgrana fueron ya corregidos en la semifinal.<\/p>\n

TIENDE LA MANO AL TIEMPO QUE MANTIENE EL PULSO FIRME.<\/h3>\n

Pero, por encima de todo eso, la llegada de Marcelino ha servido como\u00a0electroshock<\/em>\u00a0positivo para una plantilla que mostraba evidentes s\u00edntomas de fatiga mental en los \u00faltimos meses de la etapa de Garitano. Ra\u00fal Garc\u00eda ha recuperado su incidencia en el juego -dos goles y una asistencia-, Dani Garc\u00eda se ha quitado los grilletes, Williams se encuentra m\u00e1s c\u00f3modo sobre el campo y\u00a0Vencedor<\/strong>\u00a0prosigue con su evoluci\u00f3n. In my early years of school, one of my favorite subjects was called Moral and Civic Education.<\/strong><\/p>

Depending on when each reader lived his childhood, he will know what I mean.<\/p>

For those who do not know, M.C.E. was a formal and compulsory subject in schools, which was intended to help educate good citizens, who knew their duties and rights.<\/p>

But this goal I only discovered recently, at that time the literal meaning of these words never occurred to me, I simply loved to paint the cartoons of the comic strips, the Brazilian flag, and to talk about the daily facts of my city and country. This was much cooler than decorating the tables or learning about things that had happened and stopped happening hundreds of years before I even existed!<\/p>

The other day, driving back to my house here in London, I watched people cross the street in front of me, and thought\u2026 how do the moral values of a culture or region directly reflect the everyday reality of an entire nation?<\/strong><\/p>

And I\u2019ve thought of all the countries I\u2019ve been to, which are dozens of them, and cultures in general, and how clear it is to understand which are those values established strongly from the cradle, in that culture of which that person did and of which he is a part.<\/p>

An IVH (Human Value Index) survey conducted by the UN (The United Nations) showed that in the opinion of Brazilians, in general, what it is necessary to change in Brazil for quality of life to improve is, first, education, followed by public policy, violence, moral values \u200b\u200band employment. In the State of S\u00e3o Paulo there was a variation in relation to the national opinion, with moral values \u200b\u200bfirst.<\/p>

Most likely, if the same survey were done in England or in any other country, the result would be another.<\/strong><\/p>

And it occurred to me: This applies not only to countries, but also to each of the families and the citizens.<\/p>

If we stop to think, we will see clearly how the values we experience (or not) in our home, influences our life in general.<\/p>

I particularly have two very strong and unshakable values, one is respect, and the other is honesty.<\/p>

I cannot imagine a satisfactorily happy life without the presence of one of these two values.<\/p>

And analyzing my reality, I see how everyone in my house also adopted the same guiding values, just as I adopted the values of the other members of my family.<\/p>

And in that I thought as I watched people cross the street\u2026 in the tranquility I was feeling, standing at the traffic light, with the glass open, and not even thinking about checking the mirror to make sure no one was approaching to rob me. And everyone around them was acting the same way.<\/strong><\/p>

The boy who appeared to be about 10 years of age crossing the street alone, with his school bag, talking on his iPhone, the executive with his backpack, who did not try to disguise the presence of a laptop, and the old man, who walked calmly on the street with his walking stick, not being hit by the other pedestrians, and not bothering to finish crossing quickly, just in case the green light turned red for him.<\/p>

And I realized the main reason for me to love London, is because people and their values, build a nation and (regardless of the weather), build the quality of life they have. (I\u2019m not just referring to London, but mentioning what I observed while thinking about it. Of course, I love Brazil a lot, however, for different reasons.)<\/p>

Our values build our reality, as long as we are congruent with them!<\/p>

After all, what good is it to value education if you\u2019re too lazy to read a book?<\/p>

Or honesty, if you\u2019re happy when you get a little extra change and you don't even consider returning the difference to the cashier?<\/p>
